WILLOWZ on tour with The Hives.
July 31, 2008
They’re back and rollin with The Hives as well as Eagles of Death Metal. The Willowz released their 2007 album with us and will begin a national tour starting from Texas. Their corky, ballsy, garage-band style, yet cohesive records, have distinguished them from other garage-punk groups. Their latest album titled, Chautauqua got some props from highly-regarded critics like the Grammys. To say the least, fans should be anticipating some amazing performances this Fall.

Bloc Party/Does It offend you, yeah? Blew up LA
July 30, 2008
Los Angeles got a special treat from these guys during the last two days. Bloc Party and Does it offend you, yeah? killed it at their schedule performances; Monday at The Glass House and Tuesday at the Mayan. Both bands gave the crowd an outrageous show, proving that they are truly rockstars. Videos do not lie. Hand-clapping, stage diving, crazy head bouncing, body jumping were definite necessities of the night. YO! COME BACK TO L.A!

Friday night at Avalon with Busy P
July 28, 2008

Avalon Friday night was incredible. Busy P was the head-mister for the evening. Alongside were Hyphy Crunk, Keith 2.0, Drop the lime, and Them jeans. The night started out well, and by 11, the crowd was definitely poppin. Hyphy Crunk got everyone on their feet during his set. He broke in some hip hop/electro joints to get the party rollin. The over-eager dance crowd hit the floor and by the time the next DJ set was on, Avalon turned into mini-rave. The music was loud and fresh and the people did not hold anything back. We had ravers, breakers, and circles with dance battles. The vibe and energy was high, and by the time our “Main Man” for the night, BUSY P drop his set, our boys and girls got DOWWNNN. Girls were definitely NOT hesitant to jump onstage and ”shake their tailfeathers” to the master beats. Overall, the crowd was ready to party and they partied HARD. The Cobrasnake was paparazzi for the night, taking random snapshots of this memorable night. Dan Oh showed his love for Busy P and recorded his DJ set plus the hyper crowd in the back. Our Dim Mak friends and family came out for support. To break it down, Busy P and the other boys gave us an incredible show and the people made the night what it was. Check out the photos and if you didn’t come out, I give you permission to exude your jealous rage.

The Ultimate Hardfest Video
July 25, 2008
So I’ve been scouring the internet trying to find some good HARDFEST videos from performances by N.E.R.D. MSTRKRFT, Beetroots, etc. Well Check it. Finally, I found a video that encompasses all the performances of the night. PERFECT! The quality is ehh, but if you didn’t get a chance to go or missed parts of the show, here’s a pretty good mix of everything that went down.
